Course overview
Starting 14 April 2026, : 14 Apr, 21 Apr (NWP), 27 Apr (Mon - NWP), 5 May (NWP), 19 May, 2, 9, 23, 30 Jun - NWP days will be at Northwick Park Hospital, all other days will be at the BNU Uxbridge campus.
This module is aimed at nurses working within acute medical care services including emergency departments, acute medical assessment units and other acute medical environments. It is carefully designed to deliver up to date theory and to allow discussion of advancements in practice including new interventions and technological developments. The module enables learners to gain knowledge and understanding of the care of individuals who have acute medical issues.
