School of Nursing and Midwifery

Whilst a career in nursing or midwifery can be demanding and fast-paced, it is extremely rewarding. At Buckinghamshire New University, you’ll develop the skills and practice-based experience to safely and effectively provide care to the people who need you the most.

Our highly skilled lecturers and technicians bring a wealth of clinical expertise to their teaching. You’ll also benefit from our purpose-built wards, set up just like you’d find in a hospital.

Within this style of learning, real-time evolving clinical situations can be simulated, repeated and evaluated using reflection and debriefing to help you to hone your skills and get ready for practice.
